It has been some time since my last post, but there haven't been too many submissions until this week. This either means you are all keeping very busy this summer, which is probably a very good thing!
Before too long the kids will be back to school and summer vacation will be over for another season ~ enjoy it while you can!
Does anyone know of a local school or group that still collects Campbell's soup labels for fundraising? Please let me know!

If volunteering in Palliative Care is something that you would like to do, call today to set up your appointment to meet with a Palliative Care Volunteer Coordinator. Training will begin in October 2014.

BROCKVILLE: Bark For Life is Coming up Sept 20th, 2014! Volunteers are needed for the big day, but also for several promotion and fundraising events leading up to the big day. Can you lend a few hours to help out? Please contact brockvillebark@gmail.com
The committee is also looking for the loan of a canopy/awning for use on the day of the event - do you have something suitable that could be used? Please email brockvillebark@gmail.com
CARDINAL - PRESCOTT - SPENCERVILLE - The Food For All Food Bank's most requested items for this week are boxed potatoes, canned salmon, mushroom soup, juice boxes, soda crackers, relish, ketchup and minute rice. To donate please visit the location closest to you or call the Food For All Food Bank at 613-925-2444.
CARDINAL: The Galop Gallery is seeking a variety of picture frames for an upcoming project at the gallery. If you can help, please drop by the gallery Saturday or Sunday from 10-3, or contact galopgallery@outlook.com to make other arrangements.
CARDINAL: The Cardinal Youth Group and Cardinal Community Garden are seeking fan blades - these can be from no longer functioning fans, car motors, lawn mowers etc. They would like to collect 15-20 of these. Please contact kariesml@yahoo.ca or call 613-657-1635.
